From 14th to 16th April Inishbofin will be buzzing with the sights and sounds of the Inishbofin Arts Festival.

Music, Drama, Comedy, Art, Literature, Poetry, Family Fun and Craic. Whatever you’re looking for Inishbofin Arts Festival has it.

Friday 14th April

8.00pm – Doors Open

8.15pm – Art Exhibition Launch

8.30pm – Festival Launch with Cheese & Wine Reception

9.15pm – Singer/Songwriter Sonny Casey

10.00pm – The Mairtín O’Connor Trio – A trio of master musicians that produce a vibrant, musically charged and exhilarating experience.

 

Saturday 15th April

5.00pm –  Theatre Act ‘The Chain’ – A play about infamous Irish Pirate Queen Grace O’ Malley commissioned for the Arts Festival. Written by Conor Montague. Performed by Johnny O’Dowd & James Adams

‘Gaelic Ireland burns bright one final time. One woman set the spark’

9.00pm – Singer/Songwriter Gemma Cox

10.00pm – Keywest -With a mix of folk, pop and rock the five piece band bring high energy to every performance.

 

Sunday 16th April

2.30pm Singer/Songwriter Hubert Murray

3.15pm – Naomi Berrill – Cellist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer-songwriter originally from Co. Galway and now based in Florence, Italy.

8.30pm – Comedy Club with Meg Reilly – Up and coming creator and comedian from Dublin. She chronicles her life with sharp wit and a keen eye for detail, that allows her to find hilarity in all manner of everyday situations.

9.15pm – Comedy Club with Emman Idama – Nigerian born Irish comedian, who has been performing around the UK and Ireland with his unique storytelling skills.

10.00pm – Comedy Club with Fred Cooke – From dancing his way to the semi-final of Dancing with the Stars to supporting Tommy Tiernan around the country, now is your chance to see this likeable, crazed and hilarious man’ take to the stage on his nationwide tour.

 

Daytime activities include Yoga, Children’s Magic Show, Weaving Demonstration, Hip Hop Dancing, Children’s Book Reading, Book Launch, Jewellery Making and much more.
