This year’s walking festival features:
🌅 A sunrise/dawn walk to witness the island’s serene beauty at first light.
🌊 A coastal walk, showcasing dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and stunning ocean views.
🏰 A guided walk to Cromwell’s Fort, steeped in history and surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Suitable for:
Adults who are physically fit and comfortable walking for extended periods over rough and uneven terrain. Ideal for those with a keen interest in adventure, hiking, and exploring nature’s beauty.

What to Bring:
Weather-appropriate clothing for variable conditions. Hiking boots with good grip (required for participation). A small backpack with water and snacks. Optional: Binoculars to enjoy birdwatching and panoramic views. Important: For health and safety reasons, participants without appropriate hiking boots will not be permitted to join the walks.
Weekend Schedule
Friday 16th May
8.30pm – Registration at Inishbofin Community Centre
Saturday 17th May
7am – Head East and watch the beautiful Inishbofin sunrise (approx 2hrs)
9am – Breakfast in The Beach Bar
11am – Hike along the south coast and discover the island’s 17th Century Cromwellian Fort (approx 4 hrs)
Sunday 18th May
10am – Trek along the rugged North Coast of the island, exploring cliffs and sea formations (approx 4 hrs)
